Pike Lake Unit, Kettle Moraine State Forest

Though I was drawn to Eastern Wisconsin due to the funeral of my mom's cousin, Johnny Mike Horan, I didn't want to pass up an opportunity to hike at a park that I'd never visited. Though a bit more "urban" than I'd expected, Pike Lake was definitely an opportunity to reflect on the life of one of the most gregarious people I knew.
