Mercer 2013

One of the hazards of my job is that I tend to get pulled into a wide variety of short- and medium-term projects, and I tend to not make long-term personal plans, such as vacation time. And then, every July comes around, and I have vacation days that I need to use or lose. Thankfully I have a friend that has a vacation home in the Mercer area, and I paid my third visit to her lake house from July 7 to July 11, 2013. The bugs were bad, the hiking was swampy, and one of my days was rained out, but the times were great--and relaxing.
