Early on the morning of July 23, I left Denver, and headed through Wyoming to reach Pinedale, located in the western part of the state near the Wind River range. I didn't stop often along the way, but once I arrived in Pinedale I took a drive up the Fremont Lake Road and was amazed to find the Bridger-Teton National Forest. After returning to Pinedale, I had dinner at the Bottoms Up, which was formerly the LaVoie Brewing Company. They were still brewing beer, but all of the tap handles still said LaVoie.
