My journey to explore national parks and local brewpubs began on Thursday, July 18, 2002. I drove from Madison, Wisconsin, to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, which is where I had my first brew at the Cedar Brewing Company. From there, I drove to Omaha, Nebraska--my first time in that state--and had dinner at Upstream Brewing Company.
