Washington DC 2001
From February 26 through March 3, 2001, I was in Washington DC. I arrived by train from
Durham, NC, and left by air from Reagan National Airport. While there, I stayed at a great
bed and breakfast on Logan Circle, and managed to visit several brewpubs. In addition to
the traditional visits to the Smithsonian museums (Natural History and American History),
I had a tour of the Capitol and a private tour of the State Department's diplomatic
reception rooms, courtesy of the office of Wisconsin Senator Herb Kohl.
